ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland Awarded Great British Franchisee Status

Congratulations to Jane Paisley and Andre Gottemaker from ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland, who, alongside being finalists in this year’s HSBC BFA Great British Franchise Awards, have been awarded Great British Franchisee status by whichfranchise in the Great British Franchisee Awards 2024.

About ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland

ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland was started by Nick Dee Shapland in 1991 as a sole trader in Newbury and Reading.

In 2021, it became an Employee Ownership Trust, whereby 80% of the company shares are held in trust on behalf of the employees and has been under the management of Jane and Andre ever since.

Today, its multi-brand cleaning divisions service six business sectors across four ServiceMaster UK brands: ServiceMaster Clean’s Residential and Commercial upholstery and carpet cleaning, Contract Services office cleaning and ServiceMaster Restore’s disaster restoration brand, with over 400 staff and a fleet of 70 vans, making them the largest ServiceMaster Clean franchise in the UK.

The Great British Franchisee Awards 2024

In achieving Great British Franchisee status, Jane and Andre join sixteen other franchisees from across the UK named this year’s cream of the crop of British franchising, providing exceptional contributions to the sector and delivering excellence in their business - including fellow ServiceMaster Brands UK franchisee Nicky Morris from Merry Maids Fylde, Blackpool and Preston.

They also join their fellow HSBC BFA Awards 2024 finalists from ServiceMaster Clean, Siva Kugathas, CJ Micallef, and also Chris Blewitt, who have achieved this status in previous years.

This makes them the fourth consecutive franchisees to achieve this coveted status in as many years.

The awards, currently in their fourth year, celebrate business success and reflect winners’ achievements in stability, growth, staff retention, customer satisfaction, community involvement, inspired leadership and their involvement in their franchise network.

By winning, ServiceMaster Clean by Deeland is officially honoured as one of the best franchises in the UK in one of the industry’s most prestigious awards.
