Local Treasures is a one stop shop which provides local, vetted, experienced people to help customers with all sorts of home chores.

Local Treasures was set up in 2013 by Sarah Heyworth when she moved out of London to Petersfield in Hampshire. She had a husband, two young children, a dog, a cat, a new house and garden (both of which needed a lot of work). Both Sarah and Nick, her husband, were working and had very little spare time. (Sound familiar?)

Local Treasures has been supported by Innovate UK to build award winning matching technology which connects customers with a local, skilled and experienced workforce. The technology does the matching and the admin while the franchisee builds relationships with customers and Treasures.

We match people with gardeners, cleaners, handymen and companions. We also do dog walking, shopping and so much more.

Our ideal franchisees have good local networks, are personable and enjoy meeting people and are motivated to spread the word about Local Treasures.
