From University to Franchisee: Junaid Shan's Journey
Junaid Shan is making a remarkable impact in the business world. Growing up in the west of Newcastle, he joined Concept Claim Solutions as a Franchisee in 2022, the same year he completed his degree in accountancy.
Concept Claim Solutions specialises in helping clients whose homes or businesses have experienced damage from various disasters, such as water, fire, storms, or subsidence. Franchisees like Junaid assess the property damage, prepare the necessary documentation for insurance claims, and manage the repair process to ensure high-quality results.
Having worked in his family business since the age of 12 – helping in the garages, managing properties, and supporting taxi operations – Junaid developed a strong work ethic that ignited his passion for becoming his own boss. As the first member of his family to attend university, he embraced the opportunity to create a better future for himself.
Junaid Says:

Junaid’s support within his community:
Junaid is dedicated to giving back to his local community. Each week, he volunteers at mosques, organising engaging activities like boxing & football for approximately 30 children. His goal is to keep them off the streets and create a positive environment that promotes personal growth. Additionally, he supports the Ivison Trust, a charity that provides invaluable assistance to children and families affected by crime & sexual exploitation.
“I am excited about the future of my business. With support from our head office and the momentum we’ve built, I’m eager to explore new opportunities for expansion. The financial figures we’ve been tracking look very promising, which boosts my confidence in the direction we’re headed.
