TaxAssist Accountant Alex Mathew welcomed clients, business contacts, family and friends to his tax, accounting and advisory shop on 14th May, to celebrate a successful first year in business.

Mayor of Haywards Heath, Cllr Stephanie Inglefield, was invited along as a special guest to cut the ribbon.

“I would like to thank everyone who attended our party and supported me, especially my lovely wife Sajnu Jose, who organised the event and the mayor for the kind words she shared,” said Alex.

"I would also thank TaxAssist who have provided me with support every step of the way in my new venture. It’s been a tremendous year for me and my team here.

“It has always been my dream to set up my own accountancy business and give something back to the community. I’ve had a hugely successful year with 150 client signups and counting, and we’re looking to expand even more. But the main achievement for me, is that I have been fortunate enough to serve the local charities, individuals, startups, sole traders and small business in the Haywards Heath & Burgess Hill areas.
