Always a highlight on the Puddle Ducks calendar, the network recently came together for their annual franchise conference, once again at the stunning Cranage Hall in Cheshire.

Another huge success, the event brings together Puddle Ducks franchisees from across the UK to share best practice, find out about new initiatives, learn, celebrate achievements and look forward to new opportunities.

The Puddle Ducks franchise provides award winning swimming lessons to children from birth to 10 years to swim independently and to love and respect the water. The franchisees run their businesses alongside an enthusiastic and highly trained team who teach essential life skills and water safety to over 25,000 babies, toddlers, pre-school and primary school children, every week.

The conference is always a much-anticipated date in the diary, where franchisees hear from a number of different speakers offering education and advice on all aspects of running a successful franchise.  This year Duck HQ announced the initial findings of a national survey that will help franchisees continue to develop and extend the service that they provide.

The day also included the highly competitive and hugely fun team building activity of rocket making which saw the network dive in at the deep end creating many colourful, imaginative and powerful creations!

Jo Stone, managing director & co-founder of Puddle Ducks commented: “Every year is another fantastic journey for us, and the Puddle Ducks annual conference is one of a number of events we hold which gives us a fabulous opportunity to get together with our exceptional franchisees. The conference enables us to share experiences, learn from one another, and come away feeling totally inspired.”

The conference is also a perfect opportunity to showcase the amazing work and contribution from across the network with a number of awards handed out on the day, some of which were for reaching amazing milestones such as 5, 10 and 15 years in operation.

This year also saw Faye Burrell, Owner of Puddle Ducks Wakefield, Barnsley & South Leeds named as Franchisee of the Year for excelling in various areas including supporting the rest of the network, sharing best practice, contributing to franchisee training and expanding her territory.

Puddle Ducks also recognised franchisees from across the network who have closely aligned to the brand’s value across the past 12 months. Including: Natalie Archer, Owner of East Surrey, Victoria Rowley, Owner of East Kent, North Kent and South East London, Liz and Phil Gabriel, Owners of Nottingham and North Leicestershire, Jo Gribben, Owner of Lancashire, Charlie Goodenough, Owner of Puddle Ducks Gloucestershire and Jane Bozic, Owner of Dorset.
