Body Fit Training continues impressive growth across the UK and Europe

June marked another significant achievement for BFT, as they signed a Master Franchise Agreement in Scandinavia with a rollout plan set to span over 10 years. The agreement has been signed with Tage Flugeim, a seasoned operator in the Scandinavian fitness scene – having achieved great success both launching his own gym and bringing Barry’s Bootcamp to Scandinavia 15 years ago.

The immediate plan for the BFT rollout is to open one studio in Oslo, Stockholm, and Copenhagen within 12 months. These studios will serve as flagship studios in their respective countries. Once those locations are successfully established, Tage and his team will focus on building new partnerships and attracting sub-franchisees. The goal is to have 20 studios in the first five years and 40 BFT studios across Scandinavia within 10 years.

“BFT checked all the boxes for me due to the quality of the workouts, the unique approach to strength training sessions, the thoughtful programming, the emphasis on people, and the inviting, inclusive atmosphere of the studios,” explains Tage.

“When I delved deeper into BFT’s top-class franchising model and had the pleasure of meeting Rich Burnet and Cameron Falloon, and hearing Cam's story about how BFT was founded, I was convinced. I knew I had to bring BFT to Scandinavia.”

Richard Burnet, Director and Global CEO of BFT, adds, “BFT will be in great hands with Tage and his team. He is a seasoned operator and has had great success bringing Barry’s into Scandinavia. The boutique fitness space is still a relatively niche offering right across the region, which creates a huge opportunity for BFT to establish itself there. Scandinavians are passionate and committed to their fitness, so we know they'll embrace our unique model, and we are excited to support Tage and his team in bringing the BFT product to as many cities as possible.”

And finally, BFT is proud to recognise the hard work of the team at London's BFT Hackney studio, as they surpass the impressive mark of 200 members. Launched just over six months ago by the enterprising trio of Emile Kerim, Frankie Nieto, and David Irvine, BFT Hackney has experienced remarkable growth, exceeding even their own projections.

This rapid member acquisition isn't just a testament to the dedication and passion of the BFT Hackney team, but also a powerful indicator of the strong demand for BFT's unique and effective training programmes in the UK – and beyond.
