Lucky B's first franchisee takes on second location
Lucky B’s first franchisees, father and son team Sohail and Usman Ghafur, have opened their second Glasgow store, after purchasing the original Lucky B’s store in Giffnock.
Sohail and Usman, previous owners of 4 Subway stores in Glasgow, are delighted to have opened a second store and are already looking at locations for a third.
Established in 2022, Lucky B’s Hot Chicken was created by best friends Giancarlo Celino and Toni Dobrenko after spending time together on holiday in USA. Giancarlo and Toni both have a wealth of experience in the food industry and have created multiple award-winning food brands from Fish & Chips, Fresh Pasta, Burgers and Pizza!
Giancarlo & Toni felt there was a real gap in the market for one of America’s most popular fast food concepts, so they spent weeks searching, tasting and frying in order to create the juiciest and most tender fried chicken on the planet!
“We are delighted that Usman and Sohil have decided to become not only our first franchisees, but our first multi-unit franchisees!” commented Giancarlo.
Toni added, “They truly believe in the brand and want to be part of this incredible journey we are going on. The interest we have had in Lucky B’s has been immense. We have had enquiries from across the UK and even some really interesting discussion from groups in Dubai and South Africa.”
Lucky B’s will open their first franchise outside of Scotland in November. Located in Blackpool, it is the first store for Ross Fairbairn, master franchisee for Lancashire.
