Amorino Multi-Unit Franchisees open latest store in Canterbury
Amorino franchisees Khawar and Khurram Hussain have opened their third store in Canterbury. This follows stores in Camden, which was opened 9 years ago, and Greenwich last year.
Amorino Canterbury is the 31st store in the UK for Amorino.
Khawar and Khurram come from a strong background in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector having previously been a franchisee for KFC for many years. When they exited the business in December 2022, it had been turning over £15m with over 300 people working for them.
Their Amorino journey began after visiting an Amorino store in Paris, sparking a passion for artisanal gelato. They recognised the opportunity for gelato to captivate the palates of Londoners and tourists.
Upon returning to London, they wasted no time in reaching out to Amorino’s Master Franchisee, Hubert Attali. What began as a chance encounter blossomed into a fruitful collaboration, characterised by open communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to excellence.
Drawn to Amorino’s franchise central supply chain from Paris, as well as the brand’s ethos of organic and sustainable growth, Khawar and Khurram knew they had found the perfect fit for their entrepreneurial aspirations
And their Amorino journey doesn’t stop at Canterbury, they are planning on opening Lakeside and Tunbridge Wells next year.
