Amorino signs up franchisee for South West London
Amorino, the #1 premium Italian gelato franchise, is expanding further across London with 3 planned openings in the South West.
New franchisee Sailesh Lakhiani will open stores in Wimbledon, Guildford and Putney.
Sailesh is an experienced F&B operator, who has a family history of working in hospitality.
“I’ve always had a passion to own a ice cream business due to my family having experience in the ice cream industry,” commented Sailesh.
“When I came across Amorino, I knew it was a brand that I wanted to be part of. I’m now very excited to be opening in key areas in South West London and to replicate the success my fellow Amorino franchisees have had.”

Amorino currently has 31 operating stores and have plans to increase the size of UK estate to 50 stores by 2025. They are seeking multi-unit partners across the UK. The opportunity can work alongside existing food and non-food brands; one of their multi-unit partners is also a franchisee for Domino’s. They also have an ex-KFC franchisee running multiple Amorino stores.
And whilst food operation experience is beneficial, it is not essential as they have a number of successful franchisees with no food experience.
