DOMINO?S PIZZA UK & IRL PLC ANNOUNCES PROMOTION WITHIN FRANCHISE TEAM
Domino’s Pizza UK & IRL plc, the UK and Ireland’s leading pizza delivery company, today announces the promotion of Andy Hirst from Franchise Development Manger to Head of Franchise Development. Reporting to Business Development Director Andy Emmerson, his new role will see Andy heading up the franchise team of 6. He will lead them in helping Domino’s reach its goal of opening 50 new stores in the UK each year by working with existing franchisees to expand their business and to recruit new ones.
Having worked with Domino's for nearly four years, Andy has already made an outstanding contribution to the success of the franchising team, leading the company to secure recognition in national franchising awards. His work was crucial to Domino’s success at last year’s British Franchise Association Awards, where the business won the silver award and in the previous year when, franchisee Anthony Tagliamonti was named ‘Franchisee of the Year’.
Congratulating Andy on his promotion, Andy Emmerson says, “The franchise team is at the heart of Domino’s, supporting existing franchisees as well as scouting out new entrepreneurial talent to take the company forward. I am delighted to see Andy taking control of this team having been such an integral part of it for the last four years, and it reflects the outstanding work he has already done with Domino’s franchisees.”
Andy joined Domino’s in 2004, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained from a variety of senior positions in franchising and operations with a number of leading restaurant brands including Burger King and MacDonalds.
Andy replaces Stuart Lauderdale who joins the Domino's operations team as Head of Franchise Support.
