Signs Express franchise goes back to nature
Signs Express (Milton Keynes) joins in with the RSPB’s ‘Love Nature’ campaign by helping spread the word for the protection of birds and their natural habitats.
Having worked for the RSPB in the past, the Milton Keynes signage specialist was contacted by the RSPB to help continue promoting its latest campaign to protect the future of wildlife and generate interest in the beauty of our own surroundings.
The brief was for new graphics to be applied to its existing fleet of vehicles up and down the country. Using Signs Express (Milton Keynes) as its main contact there have so far been four vehicles completed out of a possible eighteen through the support of the Signs Express network. The graphics which were digitally printed were applied to the rear, the bonnet and side panels of the vehicles to create the ultimate travelling advertisement.
RSPB’s business development manager Alison Brown commented: “The RSPB has a team of staff and volunteers devoted to showing people the wildlife around them. We're a conservation organisation so we aim keep our mileage low and want to get the best value out of our vehicles by making our messages on them bright and visible, so nature's voice is noticed wherever we go. Signs Express are very easy to work with, offering practical guidance for our in-house design team to draw on and a smooth production process. We look forward to delivery of the entire fleet."
Signs Express (Milton Keynes) design and production manager, Janine Lane has been co-ordinating the process with centre owner Stuart Harrison. Stuart commented: “We’ve completed work for the RSPB in the past, usually for their vans but also for some general signs for other campaigns. Vehicle graphics are a great way to get noticed and an affordable way to spread the word on a daily basis. For an important charitable organisation such as the RSPB we wanted to help as much as we could, and due to the reach of the Signs Express network we’re in an ideal position to remove a lot of the hassle out of the process by co-ordinating everything in-house.”
