Dream Doors franchise scoops best overall marketing campaign and best print advert
Dream Doors’ Managing Director, Troy Tappenden, was delighted when his kitchen facelift franchise scooped two out of the three franchise marketing awards entered last month. Tappenden declared: “We entered three awards, and all of them were nominated. We won two. We’re over the moon.”
Dream Doors picked up trophies for ‘Best Print Advert’ and ‘Best Overall Marketing Campaign’. The company was also nominated for ‘Best Television Campaign’.
The Awards, organised by Venture Marketing Group, recognise the significant marketing efforts made by franchisors in an effort to boost business for franchisees in their networks.
Dream Doors’ ‘before and after’ image of a kitchen with the catchy slogan Enjoy the Fruits Without the Labour – an advert that appeared in the Daily Mail and The TV Times – captivated judges on the day and secured Dream Doors the Best Print Advert award. At the same time Best Overall Marketing Campaign was awarded for the company’s consistent efforts in reaching out to its franchisees’ target audience through a host of media channels, including regional and national television.
Editor of Business Franchise Magazine, Alison Ledger, who was on the judging panel said on the day: “The Franchise Marketing Awards recognise high quality marketing campaigns, and the support given by franchisors to their franchisees. For Dream Doors to win two awards is a phenomenal achievement and will be a huge benefit to the franchise network.”
Judging the FMA entries was an independent panel of experts from the franchising industry. Sitting alongside Ledger was Director General of the bfa, Brian Smart.
Said Smart: “Dream Doors is a business that its owner Troy Tappenden has hewn out of his own soul, and grown into a significant player in its market by harnessing the same passion for the business from its increasing family of franchisees. Franchisees work most effectively with quality support – no more importantly than in marketing and sales. Dream Doors provides quality support and were deserving winners.”
Kelly Chambers, Dream Doors Operations Director and bfa Southwest Regional Chair, who was with Tappenden when he collected the awards said: “We’ve won so many awards in the last few years, and it shows how much Dream Doors has matured as a brand and a franchise. It makes me proud, because we put so much time, effort and money into supporting our franchisees; the advertising and marketing support we provide helps boost their sales, and enhances the reputation of the Dream Doors network as a whole. It’s sensational to be recognised for everything we’ve done.”
