Mentoring role for Sutherland in Home Instead Senior Care franchise

With franchise office numbers growing on a month by month basis, Home Instead Senior Care who specialise in providing care in the home for the elderly, has appointed Angela Sutherland as Franchise Support Manager.

Angela, who has many years experience working in the franchise sector, working with businesses such as Prontaprint, will mentor a group of existing franchise offices providing them with training, business development support and advice on working in a franchise environment.

The opportunity to work with the Warrington-based head office team of Home Instead came about when Angela, quite literally, ran into Home Instead CEO Trevor Brocklebank at a franchise event. Angela, who was working for Barclays in an IT support role at the time, was attending the event to do some networking having decided to get back to work within the franchise environment.

Having bumped in to Trevor the pair got talking with the conversation resulting, a few interviews later, with a job offer.

Apart from her franchise experience, Angela was well placed to take on the role at Home Instead having experienced the need for care recently with her own family when her father became ill.

When not at work Angela has a passion for photography and has managed to complete a BA Hons degree in photography at Staffordshire University during her busy career.
