Top franchisees recognised at ChipsAway Annual Conference

Top performers from the ChipsAway franchise network have been recognised and rewarded at the first Annual Conference & Awards Dinner, held at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Birmingham.

Named as ChipsAway ‘Franchisee of the Year 2011’ by the UK’s leading on-the-spot automotive paintwork repair brand, Paul Fabian has one of the longest established and most successful businesses in the network, with two ChipsAway CarCare Centres, a fleet of mobile workshops and a team of highly trained employees.

According to ChipsAway Chief Executive Lloyd Evans, Paul is a worthy award winner, embodying the key ChipsAway brand values of delivering high quality repairs, outstanding customer service and excellent value for money. “Paul represents all that is best about the ChipsAway brand,”

Lloyd said. “He is absolutely focused on his customers, which is why his business has flourished and expanded, largely based on repeat custom and word of mouth recommendation. Although he is always busy, Paul is also committed to supporting the business development of his fellow franchisees and is always ready with encouragement and a smile - offering the benefit of his experience. That’s why Paul is such a popular choice for Franchisee of The Year 2011 and is held in such high esteem by the management team and his customers alike!”

Other high flyers scooping ChipsAway awards included ‘Newcomer of the Year’, Nikki & David Litchfield and Ed Irvine, former Domino’s Pizza franchisees, who achieved record launch results and have implemented the fastest business expansion programme yet at ChipsAway; and ‘Marketeers of the Year’, Steve & Anne Martin, former property developers who joined the network last year and built a turnover of £6,000 a week within their first six months.

Acknowledging their exceptional contribution to the network, awards were also presented to ChipsAway franchisees Carrie Blenkinsop and Alan Murphy respectively, for their commitment to mentoring and business development support for other franchisees.

ChipsAway is one of the most successful franchises in the UK. Using the unique ChipsAway repair system, franchisees provide ‘on-the-spot’ repairs to minor automotive paintwork damage, fixing minor dents, paintwork scratches and bumper scuffs on a ‘same day’ basis, and at a fraction of the cost of traditional body shop repair methods.
