Two new franchise owners join Belvoir

Belvoir is proud to announce that two new franchise owners have joined the group, further strengthening the brand in Wales and Scotland. Rob Price successfully completed induction training and is due to open Belvoir Cardiff in September, whilst Lewis Stuart recently completed the resale of Belvoir Aberdeen and has already started work in this busy office.

With a background in IT, Rob said: “About two years ago I felt the time was right for a change of career. I began looking for opportunities where my strong quality ethics could be used to build a new business based on excellent service. I researched many opportunities and that eventually led me to the lettings industry. I felt that the Cardiff lettings industry was vibrant and competitive but still had room for growth.

“My research led me to Belvoir lettings, which operates a franchise model and the business is based around customer service with excellent products and services. I could see where such an offering would fit into Cardiff and began the process of opening Belvoir Cardiff. “

Prior to buying Belvoir Aberdeen, local man Lewis Stuart managed another lettings agency for four years, and before that he ran his own business. “I had my own business for 25+ years, making orthopaedic footwear,” said Lewis, “I then moved into the lettings industry and managed another agency for four years before deciding to work for myself again. The induction course was very comprehensive and I am really enjoying working with the team at Belvoir Aberdeen and helping to deliver a quality service.”

Commenting on the latest recruits to the Belvoir network, MD Dorian Gonsalves said: “The launch of Belvoir Cardiff will greatly strengthen the Belvoir brand in Wales, alongside our existing offices in Swansea and Wrexham. We wish Rob every success for the future.

“Belvoir Aberdeen is one of ten Belvoir offices in Scotland and I am sure that the ambition and determination demonstrated by Lewis Stuart will help to make this office one of the top performers within the group.”

According to recruitment manager, Christopher Watkin, this is a perfect time to consider opening a Belvoir lettings franchise. He explained: “Since the first franchise opened in 1996, Belvoir Lettings has helped nearly a quarter of a million people find a home. With the country in recession, house prices falling, more investment into buy to let properties...the lettings market continues to be buoyant, making this a perfect time to join an award-winning business model.

“Even though 98% of Belvoir franchise owners don’t have a property background, they still achieved an average of £158,814 turnover per office in 2010. The intensive training course will help equip franchise owners with everything they need to know to run a successful lettings agency.”
