Franchise Finance welcome industry expert Chris Hughes to the team

One of the most experienced industry finance professionals, Chris Hughes, has joined the team at Franchise Finance. Following a twenty four year career at NatWest Chris was looking for a change. He joins Franchise Finance with eight years of direct industry experience from within the bank’s Central Franchise Team.

Chris Roberts and Stuart Walsh are delighted to welcome Chris to the team. Over the past two years the business has experienced a rapid growth in demand from franchisors frustrated with prospective franchisees that complete the initial recruitment process, but then fail to secure funding. Franchise Finance manage this application process, developing a template business plan that they know from their experience will tick all the boxes with the banks.

They take each approved prospective franchisee by the hand and professionally prepare them to apply for funding, setting in place a solid personal business plan and training them in how to effectively deliver the application. The franchisee can then follow their plan to grow their new business.

With the positive uptake of the service Chris and Stuart saw a future problem and looked to scale up their team. Finding someone with the skillset and experience required to handle this specialist work was a real challenge.
