Job Seekers meet Caremark franchise at vibrant job fair

Over 4000 keen job seekers attended a Jobs Fair and Recruitment event hosted by Job Centre Plus, held a the Guild Hall in Hull on 12 October 2012.

Graham Precious, MD for Caremark (East Riding), one of the areas’ leading home care providers, accompanied by his Training Manager Amanda Foster hosted a stand at the event. Caremark (East Riding) were there to promote their exciting job opportunities working within the growing sector of home care.

Caremark provide care and support services to a diverse range of clients who wish to remain living safely and independently at home, but may require some extra support to do so. Caremark’s services are delivered by highly trained care and support workers who have all been through enhanced CRB checks and screening prior to joining the company.

A busy day followed, meeting people looking for work in the Hull and East Riding area and the Job Centre’s Rabecca Hunt felt it was a very successful initiative.

Also in attendance was the Rt. Hon Alan Johnson, MP for Hull West and Hessle, who spoke very supportively of Caremark (East Riding) and all they are working to achieve in their local community. Commenting on the day to Alan Johnson, Caremark’s MD Graham Precious, said “Days like these are vital to our growth and it’s great to see the Guild Hall Facility being used by the Job Centre Plus team free of charge, allowing people to see all the opportunities that are actually available”.

“Sometimes when people are on benefits they can quickly lose confidence and get stuck in the system and they don’t realise that there are job vacancies out there. They also maybe need to consider a different career path using their transferable skills” he concluded.

All in all Caremark (East Riding) had a successful day with lots of interest from many candidates, whom Caremark will be contacting in the next few days for interviews and profiling.
