Record growth for TaxAssist Accountants franchise
Small business accountancy franchise TaxAssist Accountants has bucked the industry trend with record growth for the start of 2013.
“January was a phenomenal month for us, with sales at just under £3 million and 1,475 new clients signing up across the network – 28% higher than our previous best month,” said Business Development Manager James Mattam.
“We’re seeing year on year growth of 14% against a backdrop of slowdown in the accountancy industry generally, with latest research showing income growth at 5% in 2012 compared to 8% in 2011.
“One of the main reasons we’re bucking the trend is that we’re adapting to changing client demands and offering a welcoming, straight talking approach, with accountants in shop-front offices right on the high street. Our franchisees say their small business clients really welcome that.”
Now with more than 200 offices and over 43,000 small businesses clients in the UK, TaxAssist Accountants has a total fee bank of £28.6 million and is currently exporting its successful business model to Canada, the U.S., New Zealand and Australia.
