Martin & Co franchise in Gloucester celebrates acquisition success
Peter & Rani Grieve, franchise owners of Martin & Co Gloucester, are celebrating the acquisition of local independent lettings business Cox & Company from Ian & Louise Sainsbury.
The acquisition of well over 200 managed properties marks a successful expansion for franchise owners Peter & Rani who opened the business in 2010 as their second Martin & Co office, joining their first office, Martin & Co Worcester which was launched in 2008.
“When the opportunity to acquire this quality business arose we did not hesitate as it was an exact fit with our core business, not only that but Ian & Louise’s work ethic, level of professionalism and passion for delivering good customer service exactly matched that of ours. It has always been our long-term plan to grow the business both organically and through strategic acquisitions. Our Worcester office operates as one of the top 3 letting agents in the area and now with the expansion of our Gloucester office, we’re able to boast dual office success in the Gloucester and Worcester regions” said Peter.
“We have just celebrated our fifth year with Martin & Co with our Worcester office being renewed onto its second 5 year term. In that time we’ve launched from a cold start business, growing to be the leading agent in the area and in 2010 we were able to open our second office in Gloucester.” Peter added, “As business owners, we think this growth is down to our determination to deliver on promises and provide excellent customer service to landlords and tenants alike. The experience and support of our team has also been pivotal in growing the business and for this Rani & I are very grateful!”
