Tutor Doctor franchisee receives industry recognition

Alex Scotchbrook was named a finalist in the 2013 bfa HSBC Franchisee of the Year Awards, supported by Express Newspapers. This year’s completely revamped format saw 17 finalists selected across five new categories, with the winners competing for the right to be crowned the UK’s overall 2013 Franchisee of the Year and take home £10,000, courtesy of HSBC.

The finalists reflect the high standards found in ethical franchising in the UK. They have demonstrated exceptional business practice, acting as outstanding ambassadors for their sectors, areas of expertise and for the specific award categories. Each category winner won £1,000 and a trophy, also from HSBC.

Alex says that; “I was extremely honoured to be selected as one of the 17 finalist out of 44,000 UK Franchisees. I see this as Tutor Doctor's credit rather than a reflection of any great personal brilliance! What I have done successfully for the last 5 years is to follow the Tutor Doctor model and serve my customers with the Tutor Doctor ethos at play. This has lead to tremendous results and I am hugely proud to represent such a solid system and ethical brand. I'm looking forward to many happy years to come.”
