Trophy Fat to Fit Club
Trophy Pet Foods are pleased to announce the arrival of the Trophy Fat Club for dogs. Following the recent successes of a pet nutrition days held in towns all over the country and at shows and events last summer it was felt that there was a real need for dietary management and weight loss guidance for Britain's dogs. The fat clubs will be held all over the country and will be run by Trophy Nutritionally Trained Advisor's.
The town of Stafford will see the first club starting in early February run by Trophy Nutritional Advisor, John Thurley. John (owner of Trophy Stafford) said "We are a mobile service and our vans are fitted with weighing equipment, this combined with our nutritional expertise will to take the guess work out of dieting by providing a complete service from weight management and guidance to the feeding of a Trophy lite dog food".
Trophy Pet Food's Sales Director, Sue Reid said "We are looking for understanding and caring dog owners who are really committed to helping their overweight dogs lose weight. It will not be easy we all like to give tit bits, treats and leftover's to our dogs, but all this does is pile on the weight and encourages bad practice."
The dogs (and their owners!) will be asked to attend a fortnightly slimming club. Here the dogs will be weighed, assessed and their fortnightly loses (or gains!) recorded. It will also be a great opportunity for like minded dog owners to meet up and discuss how they are doing! The club is free to join and attend. Advice on diet, weight management, exercise and ideal weight goals will all be available at the club. Prizes and achievement awards will also be available to help motivate and keep on track!
