Ex-Engineer Indulges his Love of Interior Design with Dream Doors Franchise!

EX-SERVICE engineer Mick Appleton is indulging his love of interior design by opening a kitchen showroom.

Mick and his partner Sharon Leeson joined the UK’s #1 kitchen makeover company earlier this year and have now opened Dream Doors Bolton and Bury in Bolton.

The couple said they were both looking for a change of career direction with great take home pay, but for Mick there was an added bonus.

“I knew that if I was going to go into franchising it would have to be something that I take an active interest in,” said Mick.

“And for me that was always going to be something to do with home improvements, especially in kitchens.

“I’m that person who walks into a restaurant and starts looking around at the décor going: ‘Oooh, that’s nice’ and completely ignoring the menu.

“I can drive Sharon a bit potty with that sometimes!

“But of course, we both wanted to make sure we were going to do something that generates good revenue and Dream Doors certainly does that.

“The company’s revenue has gone up every year for the last 20 years.”

Sharon, who is a former nurse and child therapist, added: “Mick and I both wanted to do something a bit different.

“I wanted to work with him and we were both looking for a challenge.

“Working in this field is something Mick has wanted to do for a long time.”

Dream Doors is looking for more talented franchisees like Mick and Sharon who are ready to generate huge profits by representing an industry-leading brand.

There are just 19 new franchise territories available nationwide, particularly in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and Scotland.
