The UK’s leading Asian QSR brand, Chopstix, has continued its impressive programme of growth as franchise partner RTL Enterprises opens its ninth Chopstix site, on Baker Street, London, this month.

RTL has opened four sites over the last 15 months, focusing on growing the brand in London with other high-performing sites in Walthamstow and Putney. The franchise is set to open a tenth store, in Bexleyheath, before the end of the year.

RTL has worked closely with Chopstix Franchise Director, Aaron Moore-Saxton, to identify high potential locations, to allow the franchisee to grow with the brand at speed.  As part of the agreement, RTL oversees the full management of all sites, with employees undergoing an extensive Chopstix induction. Since the successful launch of its first site in Romford, RTL has become fully embedded in the Chopstix brand ethos and is well equipped to deliver success with future stores.

Aaron Moore-Saxton, Chopstix Franchise Director said, “This is a high footfall site, located in one of the busiest parts of London, so the opportunity for the Baker Street store is huge. RTL Enterprises is an important franchise partner for us, operating several thriving sites, and they’re well-placed to maximise the potential of this high-profile new opening.

“The speed at which RTL Enterprises is growing with the brand demonstrates how much the team has bought in to Chopstix, and we’re excited to see how they expand their footprint with us.”

Jimmy Arifaj, RTL Enterprises, Director said, “Chopstix sites offer a fantastic return on investment, and that has facilitated the rapid growth we’ve achieved with the brand.

“We’re excited to have secured such a high-footfall location, and with clear operational processes, quick service, and ever-increasing brand recognition, I have no doubt we’ll have significant success with the Chopstix Baker Street restaurant.”

The new Baker Street site boasts brand-new state of the art digital screens, along with bold and bright signature interiors that make Chopstix so unique, such as the brand's iconic ‘living wall,’ natural wood finishes and its winking anime character.

Chopstix was founded in Camden Market in 2002 by entrepreneurs Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, who remain involved with the business on a day-to-day basis, and is currently undergoing a busy period of expansion, with franchising considered a vital mechanic in Chopstix achieving its lofty growth targets. The business boasts a strong pipeline of new sites, through both company operated and franchise ownership models, having opened several new equity stores this year, including in Bracknell and Brent Cross and having recently secured new franchise agreements with KK Foods SW, Sparta Foods, Haven and Butlin’s.
