The TaxAssist Accountants network of franchisees will receive preferential rates and other benefits as launch partner for Intuit’s innovative new QuickBooks Practice Manager (QBPM) software.

TaxAssist Accountants is the largest reseller of QuickBooks Online (QBO) in the UK ensuring its 80,000 client base are using some of the best online accounting software available to run and support their business operations.

Mike Melling, The TaxAssist Group Commercial Director, said: “I’m delighted that TaxAssist Accountants will be able to benefit from a fantastic deal and game changing software which will greatly enhance their practices.

“QuickBooks Practice Manager presents a great opportunity for our network to spend less time on admin and more time supporting our clients to grow their businesses. With the team progress tracking tool, for example, TaxAssist Accountants’ practices can analyse the services provided to clients and identify additional services that will help clients.

“As recommended software, QBPM will be central to our best practice processes and we will continue to work closely with Intuit to influence its roadmap and product development to further enhance the functionality.”

QBPM is a fully integrated solution that enables accountants to streamline workflows, increase consistency across operating procedures, reduce admin by automating recurring tasks, centralise client records and manage workload, no matter what financial management /bookkeeping software clients use.

Some of the features in QuickBooks Practice Manager are:

  • Client onboarding: Easily create letters of engagement and automate welcome emails and document requests.
  • Streamline workflows: Direct link to clients’ QBOA, as well as secure, GDPR compliant file sharing.
  • Document e-signing: Reduce manual admin with integrated document e-sign, at no additional cost.

Smart integrations with Companies House, Xama, Zapier and more to save time with client onboarding, importing data from third party applications and anti-money laundering checks.

Nick Williams, UK Product Director at Intuit QuickBooks, said: “The TaxAssist Accounting professionals have been going above and beyond for their clients in what have been testing times, especially over the past few years. We know time is precious and that clients have increasingly diverse needs, which is why we’ve designed QuickBooks Practice Manager to support in meeting these challenges head-on.

“We’ve been working closely with TaxAssist Accountants throughout its development and we’re confident QuickBooks Practice Manager will help accountants free up critical time to focus on what truly matters: providing expert guidance and advice to help their clients succeed as well as drive the growth of their practices.”

As part of the franchise package, TaxAssist Accountants are provided with a suite of software solutions to support the running of a modern and efficient accountancy practice. The software encompasses onboarding, practice management, tax and accounts compliance, payroll and pensions, data capture and digitalised bookkeeping products from day one.

Belonging to the TaxAssist Accountants network brings significantly discounted software rates, with full training, enhanced support, installation and updates provided on an ongoing basis.
