Home Instead celebrates 250th franchise
Home Instead has come a long way since opening their first pilot office in 2005, recently celebrating reaching their 250th office is style. Bringing together franchise owners, members of their National Office and key suppliers, the event was the perfect way to celebrate those who have supported the growth of the number one home care company, Home Instead.
Taking place at the stunning Delamere Manor in Cheshire, the celebration of the 250th franchise office was an opportunity for attendees to reminisce about successes and look forward to what lies ahead for the Home Instead family. A video bringing together photos from over the years, award wins, conferences, collaborations and much more, helped trigger some wonderful memories, of what is not only a brand leading the way, but a network built of a foundation of shared passion and support for one another.
From then to now
Home Instead’s first franchise was sold in 2006 and a common discussion topic throughout the celebration was how far Home Instead has come, so it was made extra special to have their very first franchisees who signed up in 2006 attend.
Bryn and Jill Evans, who are now multi-unit owners of Home Instead Sheffield North, South & Barnsley were delighted to catch up and share their experiences with Suzie and Rob Stanton, owners of Home Instead’s 250th franchise office in Mansfield.
It speaks volumes of the commitment and passion for the brand and the exceptional care they provide that they are still running a hugely successful business 17 years later.
Each territory sold and milestone achieved brings Home Instead closer to its mission to expand the world’s capacity to care.
Leading from the front
CEO of Home Instead UK and International, Martin Jones MBE, opened the celebrations by reflecting on how far the business has come and how strong the franchise network is. He said: “Operating in a market that’s growing at pace, it’s vital that we do look to the future, however, it’s when reaching milestones like this it’s great to look back – as I said at this year’s annual conference ‘It’s only when you look back, that we can see how far we’ve come’.”
Ruth Brown, COO of Home Instead UK and EWIF Ambassador of the year is passionate about franchising and expressed pride for Home Instead’s ethos and progress over the years, she said: “We are all really excited about the future and what it holds for the Home Instead family. There is so much more for us to explore as a brand.
“I know that our network of dedicated franchise owners, supported by our expert National Office team and carefully selected business partners will continue to lead from the front as we work in partnership to provide outstanding, quality care that meets the care needs of the future.”
How it feels to be part of Home Instead
Rob and Suzie wrapped up the day perfectly, explaining how it feels to take the company to an exciting new phase in the brand’s growth. Suzie said: “What an honour to be the 250th franchise office as part of the Home instead family. It goes to show what a successful and well-established franchise network we have joined. We love being able to spread the Home Instead message in our community and demonstrate how we can support families with older loved ones.”
