Multi-unit Greensleeves franchisee wins major franchise award
Developing an existing lawn care business into a profitable multi-unit operation in under 5 years has helped husband and wife team, David and Danielle Davison, win a whichfranchise Great British Franchisee Award.
David and Danielle have been running their Greensleeves Lawn Care franchise since 2019. They initially bought a franchise resale in Surrey North before acquiring Twickenham a few years later.
Deemed as one of the highest honours in the industry, the award recognises outstanding franchisees’ ability to perform exceptionally well in all areas of their business.
The judges were impressed with this growth through acquisition and their ambitious growth plans for the future.
They were also very impressed with how they have used their initiative to effectively add additional revenue streams that have helped turn quiet months into busy months which is important when running a “seasonal” business.

David and Danielle have extensive sales and management experience and skills that they have leveraged well when focusing on the growth of their business.
They are financially astute and are therefore able to model, and execute, growth plans. They have done this through financial modelling tools which have allowed them to make informed and proactive decisions around all areas of the business.
