THE LITTLE GYM RANKS NO 1 IN US ENTREPRENEUR POLL
The Little Gym franchise has been ranked ‘No 1 Children’s Fitness Program Franchise’ by US Entrepreneur Magazine in its ‘2008 Franchise 500’ issue. In the magazine’s overall top 500 franchise listing, The Little Gym also ranked at number 145, beating other children’s gymnastics programmes by a huge margin.
Founded in the United States in 1976, The Little Gym offers a curriculum-based gymnastics programme that evolves with each stage of a child’s motor-skills development, taking youngsters of all abilities through to 12 years. The Little Gym currently has over 300 locations in 19 countries, including fourteen UK franchises with five currently open: in Chiswick, Hampton Hill, Wandsworth, Sutton Coldfield and Stoke. At it’s most recently opened Chiswick gym, full membership has totalled over 500 since its official opening last September, making it the fastest growing gym outside of America since the company was founded in 1976. National coverage is expected within five years.
