Muffin Break, part of Foodco Group, has ended the year on a high with the opening of two new stores in two days.

On Wednesday 11th December, Muffin Break opened a stunning 2,500sqft new fit out right in the heart of The Centre, East Kilbride. This was followed by store number 70 opening in The Market Place, Bolton, on Thursday.

"East Kilbride and Bolton are part of the current expansion phase for the brands, with 6 stores opened in the last 3 months and eight new stores in the pipeline set to open in key locations across the UK," commented Michael Johnson, Franchise Development Executive.

"Over the past few years, we have enjoyed a host of openings across the UK with our franchised Muffin Break & Jamaica Blue cafes."

"We now have 70 Muffin Break and 20 Jamaica Blue outlets and we’re actively looking for new sites and franchise partners to join us and grow. Franchising is a proven way for newcomers to become involved in the café business."

With another eight stores under offer for both the Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue cafes, 2025 is looking set to be another great year for FoodCo in the expansion of these brands.

Franchising in the UK since 2001, Muffin Break is looking for partners across the UK. No hospitality experience required. Models include inline units, kiosks in shopping malls, and high street shops.
