YouMeSushi Confirmed as Expanding Member of the British Franchise Association
The popular franchised brand YouMeSushi, has been confirmed as an expanding member of the British Franchise Association (BFA). Accreditation follows a detailed application process which verifies franchisors have robust procedures in place to support franchisees and that they are committed to ethical franchising.
Franchise consultant at YouMeSushi, Krishma Vaghela, confirms: “The BFA is an influential trade association for franchising in the UK. It promotes high quality ethical business format franchising governed by standards and a Code of Ethics. To become accredited is a necessarily thorough process. We were required to submit legal documentation, the financial model, franchise prospectus, the operations and training manual, as well as sets of accounts. In addition, our franchisees were asked to take part in a short survey.
“Achieving the BFA’s stamp of approval now confirms that we have all the right processes and infrastructure in place to support our franchisees ethically, ensuring best practice as we continue to expand. YouMeSushi was originally founded in 2008 and has grown to 26 outlets across the UK since the company started franchising in 2021, with plans to further open several sites in Q1 of 2025.
