CareYourWay's CEO, Sarah Sabater, Nominated for Business Woman of the Year at Leading Women in Care Awards 2025
Sarah Sabater, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of CareYourWay, is set to attend the prestigious Leading Women in Care Awards 2025 in London on Tuesday, 6th March. Not only is she a finalist in the Business Woman of the Year (Home Care) category, but she has also been invited as a guest speaker on a panel alongside other esteemed professionals in the health and social care sector.
The Leading Women in Care Awards, organised by Promedia Digital Ltd., celebrate and support female leaders in the care sector, recognising their achievements and contributions to improving health and social care. The event is dedicated to highlighting the successes of inspirational women who are driving positive change and shaping the future of care.
A Leader in Care Innovation
Sarah’s journey in the care sector began in 2005, when she co-founded CareYourWay alongside her husband, Manuel. Inspired by a personal experience of inadequate care when a loved one was diagnosed with a terminal illness, the couple committed themselves to providing compassionate, high-quality, and person-centred home care. Under Sarah’s leadership, CareYourWay has grown into one of the UK’s leading home care providers, known for its dedication to empowering individuals to live independently in their own homes.
Beyond her role at CareYourWay, Sarah is a respected voice in the care sector. She sits on the Care Innovation Summit Advisory Board, playing a key role in developing forward-thinking solutions for the industry. She is also an ambassador for the West Country Women organisation and Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF), supporting and mentoring women in business and franchising.
Reflecting on her nomination and upcoming role as a speaker, Sarah shared her excitement:
"It is an honour to be recognised among such an incredible group of women making a real difference in the care sector. After attending last year’s event, I’m looking forward to engaging in important discussions about the current state of the industry and how we can work together to address key challenges. Collaboration is key to the future of care."
Leading the Conversation on the Future of Care
The panel discussion at the awards will be a major highlight, featuring industry leaders such as Angela Boxall, CEO of Majesticare and Chair of Care England, Sinéad McHugh-Hicks, Managing Director of Dimensions, Dr Jane Townson, CEO of the Homecare Association, and Anita Goyal MBE.
The conversation will focus on key topics including the evolving landscape of care, innovation, and the crucial role of female leadership in driving progress.
As the awards take place ahead of International Women’s Day, they serve as an important reminder of the impact of women in the care sector and the need for continued support, recognition, and collaboration to address challenges facing the industry today.
