Chipsaway franchise in the limelight
Leading SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Technology) automotive paintwork repair specialist ChipsAway has shot its first ever television advert, which will be seen by millions on national TV later this year.
The advert represents a major investment by ChipsAway in supporting its franchisees, raising brand awareness and generating new business through high impact promotion of ChipsAway’s services to consumers on national television.
Chief Executive Lloyd Evans comments: “We have already seen new business leads for the first five months of 2009 up 68% on the same period last year, and want to continue pushing the ChipsAway brand to as wide an audience as possible.”
ChipsAway operates a 24/7 UK Call Centre and last year launched a national advertising campaign, which according to Lloyd, has certainly contributed to the current boom in business.
“We are confident that our powerful new television advert will generate substantially increased levels of new business for our UK network of franchisees,” he says.
ChipsAway is one of the most successful franchises in the UK with around 350 franchisees operating nationwide, and a network of master franchisors overseas. The ChipsAway system continues to dominate in the ‘on-the-spot’ SMART repair sector.
Franchisees operate from professionally liveried vehicles, customised as fully equipped mobile workshops, which means they can repair minor dents, paintwork scratches and bumper scuffs to car paintwork on a ‘same day’ basis, in a location most convenient to their customer and at a fraction of the cost of traditional body shop repair methods.
