The UK’s largest letting agency Martin & Co has welcomed its latest franchise owners through the doors of their Ashford office. The award-winning agency will continue to offer a dedicated letting service for landlords and tenants in the local area. Business partners Kevin Hall and Alison Donnelly haven taken over the business and are ready and raring to go, Kevin mentioned, “We are both set to take property lettings in to the next level in the Ashford area, many agents fail to meet customers’ needs but both Alison and I have years of good customer service experience and we want to offer landlords and tenants an outstanding service which keeps them coming back”.

 

Both Kevin and Alison have managed teams in previous job roles, Alison stated that “I am a natural motivator which enables me to lead and manage a business successfully; with Kevin’s expertise as well we have the foundations to run an extremely successful business”. Kevin has always had a burning desire for property; he’s renovated two properties and also built his current home from scratch with his wife Sarah. He said, “I’ve always wanted to get involved in the property market so when the opportunity to join Martin & Co came about I grabbed at it with two hands. Alison and I both regard the Martin & Co brand as the UK’s best so to say we are a part of this now is great”.

 

“Many local estate agents have opened a letting arm in an attempt to bolster their flagging sales because it is clear that the trend is moving towards lettings. People are starting to realise that buying a home isn’t flexible enough where as lettings can provide the adaptability and consistency they need”, said Alison. “Kevin and I have the same aim for the business, we intend to take the stress away from landlords and tenants and provide them with a service which exceeds their expectations, this in turn will build a fantastic name for Martin & Co in the local area”, added Alison.

 

Kevin reminds us however, “Although it is a franchise, it is important to remember that it is our own business. We’re looking forward to working with Martin & Co to establish the Ashford office for years to come and who knows, maybe in time we will be running more than one Martin & Co office”.
