ODC Group delighted to appoint new Chief Executive Officer
The On Demand Communication (ODC) Group, owners of the Superbrands Prontaprint and Kall Kwik, has today announced the immediate appointment of Sara Jamison as the new chief executive officer.
Sara fills a vacant full time UK based Group chief executive role, moving from her former position as CEO of LighterLife UK Ltd where she was responsible for 350 franchisees throughout the UK and ROI. This role enabled her to develop an excellent in-depth knowledge and understanding of the franchising model.
Kealan Lennon, non-executive chairman for the ODC Group, said: “This is great news for the ODC business and brands. I have been searching for quite some time for a permanent UK based CEO for the business and am delighted that we have been able to attract talent like Sara's.”
Speaking today, Sara said: “I’m really keen to get started at On Demand Communications. Putting a first-class service at the heart of the proposition is fundamental to how I work, and I hope my experience of the franchising model will go a long way to ensuring we can do this better than ever before.”
Prior to her role at LighterLife UK Ltd, Jamison headed up the marketing function at Virgin Cosmetics, which involved working with around 6,500 selling agents, as well as a retail portfolio. Her career began on the shop floor of Iceland Foods Ltd, where she successfully worked her way up to the position of marketing director for the company.
Jamison will lead strategic direction and oversee the day-to-day running of the business. As part of her role, she will assume the responsibilities of Fiacra Nagle, who is departing from his position in March, to take up a role as Managing Director of Compass Group in his native Dublin.
Kealan commented: “Sara will bring valuable experience across sales, training, marketing, retail and franchising which will enhance our abilities to grow our brand presence and franchisee operations into the future.”
Henry Luce, (Chairman of Independent Kall Kwik Franchise Owners Association (IKKFOA) and owner of the Kall Kwik centre in Exeter) said: "I am delighted to hear that someone with such an impressive career has decided to join Kall Kwik to help move the business forward to the next stage of its development".
Adam Brenner (Chairman of the Prontaprint Franchisee Association and owner of the Prontaprint Franchise in Newcastle) commented: “I welcome the move and look forward to meeting Sara, she certainly comes with a strong track record and her marketing and franchising experience will be a great asset for the business.”
