Driver Hire franchise's new Crewe man

Leading franchisor, Driver Hire – a recent finalist in the bfa ‘Franchisor of the Year’ awards – is continuing its franchise sales success. Already this year its helped ten new franchisees join its network. This week its added another; Martin Kenyon who has taken over their Crewe franchise.

Prior to purchasing his franchise, Martin worked in express logistics sector. He started as a driver and ended at board level. Over a career spanning 30 years he worked for national carriers Target Express and Tuffnells. More recently he’s been working as a consultant to the transport industry. However, he felt he was in need of a new challenge.

“I felt that setting up my own business was too risky, particularly in the current economic climate,” says Martin. “So I turned my attention to franchising which offers a safer route into self employment. I used the quality services of Driver Hire at the depots I managed some years ago. So the two strands came together and I found myself discussing a potential purchase with Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director”.
