Financial services recruiter, Head Forward, is to merge with executive search and management consultancy group CNA International.

Speaking in Birmingham today, Head Forward's managing director Steve Ritson (pictured) said "it made sense to become a part of CNA International, as they have a respected brand name in financial recruitment. With over 40 offices in the UK and Europe, they have the market coverage and expertise required to offer a top-flight service to my clients."

"Their business model, marketing strategy and the rigorous training of their consultants were all decisive factors in my decision to operate under the CNA banner. The added advantage of being able to offer a multi-suite of services like interim management and consultancy provided a further incentive to join CNA."

CNA's commercial director Ian Peters said "we have always respected Steve for what he has achieved with Head Forward and we're delighted at his decision to join us. Steve will continue to be based in Birmingham, and will be responsible for the CNA Recruitment division's expansion programme in the West Midlands region."
