New PR Executive joins the British Franchise Association team

The British Franchise Association (bfa) has announced the appointment of Amy Winder as PR executive.

Amy joins from the Horticultural Trades Association where she held the position of digital PR executive, with a focus on website management, SEO and media relations. She has previous experience in digital and copywriting positions and also holds a degree in advertising.

Pip Wilkins, the bfa chief executive, said: “Amy’s previous experience within a trade association, and in digital content and media relations, makes her an ideal fit for the role. She’ll bring highly relevant skills as we prepare for the launch of the new bfa website and put new strategies in place to increase the reach of the Association on behalf of the sector.

“I know the community will make her feel at home and will welcome Amy in her new position.”

Amy takes up the role on Monday 10 October, reporting to the bfa’s external relations and training manager, Emma Wilsdon.
