Caremark franchises rated Top 20 regionally in homecare.co.uk awards 2021

“My 94-year-old mum lives in a sheltered housing complex and for the last one and half years, Caremark personnel have attended to her needs three times a day. They provide assistance with showering, dressing, food and liquid needs, administration of medication and companionship. I could not manage without the care and compassion of these wonderful people, who go about their duties with warmth and professionalism. I am able to read daily reports. If Mum has an appointment, management are always on hand to organise assistance or answer any queries.”

“In June 2020, our dearest mum was so relieved to receive the help and care from Caremark, Hornchurch. Living abroad during the pandemic meant travel restrictions for us all. It was a huge worry as my mum needed support, especially as she was moving to her new flat during this time. I can only praise the carers and those who manage Caremark Hornchurch for stepping in to give mum their full support on all levels and also during medical emergencies. The professionalism, assistance, kindness and punctuality of the carers made my mum feel safe and she really looked forward to their visits. It was such a help too when she needed to run local errands or go to the doctors, a carer would take her. Just weeks before the vaccine came out, Mum suddenly caught the coronavirus before Christmas and sadly passed. The Caremark management team and carers were also an enormous pillar of strength during this difficult time.

We cannot express our gratitude enough to them for being like a family for Mum.”

“I have a number of physically disabling conditions, including chronic pain and fatigue. I was finding it increasingly difficult to manage my housework and preparing meals. I was living on packet soups, cereal bars and apples. A social worker carried out a needs assessment for me and recommended Caremark. It was all arranged quickly and easily. A senior member of staff visited me and we had an in-depth discussion about how they can support me. I now have two housework calls each week which are brilliant. As regards food, I made it clear from the start that I want freshly cooked meals (not ready meals). This is fine, no problem. My carers provide me with delicious meals such as pan-fried salmon with rice, vegetables and salad. Eating such wonderful meals makes a huge difference to my life, health and happiness. All my carers are wonderful, kind, patient, professional and friendly. If I need a prescription collected this is no problem.

I feel truly blessed to be cared for so kindly.”
