Budding franchisees learnt more about the sector from 6 leading brands
A recent informative webinar allowed budding franchisees to learn more about the world of franchising and the many opportunities available within it.
Franchise Discovery Day ,which took place on Thursday 31st April, welcomed 6 leading franchisors, franchisees and experts from within the sector to provide helpful information about franchising and how to launch your own successful business within the sector.
6 leading franchisors took part: Driver Hire, FASTSIGNS UK, Home Instead, Puddle Ducks, Revive! and X-Press Legal Services.
Attendees were welcomed to the event by BBC’s Ben Thompson, who hosted discussions between the many presenters, asking questions and exploring their journeys.
Each franchisor invited a franchisee to discuss their personal franchise journey and how they have gone on to grow a successful business with their chosen franchise brand.
Emily Price, COO of the British Franchise Association joined the event and discussed franchising within the UK in more detail and the association’s support. Also in attendance was Innes Laing, Franchise Director at HSBC who talked attendees through the financial aspects of launching a franchise, including the high success rates and favourable lending from banks.
It was a great place for people to not only learn more about franchising, but to pose questions to each of the presenters – learning more about the franchise sector from experts within it.
