Plan-it Cards officially relaunches franchise opportunity
Plan-it Cards, one of the leading brands in the greetings cards industry, is excited to announce the relaunch of its franchise opportunity.
Established in 2000, Plan-it Cards is an independent UK-owned family business, with Franchisor Jonathan and Irene Waterson now having joint ownership, and working alongside their son David who looks after IT and Innovation.
Plan-it Cards is an established brand with many well-known customers such as SGN Retail, Post Offices, Co-Op, Londis, Premier, Spar, Morrisons Daily, Best-One, Costcutter, Budgens, Nisa, Shell, BP, and Esso.
“We are very excited about the relaunch of the Plan-it Cards franchise,” said Jonathan Waterson. “We are working closely with the British Franchise Association and key partners to help develop the brand across the UK. We have a great model that has been established for over 20 years and we now want others to share in our success.”
“Our opportunity is ideal for individuals and couples. We don’t look for specific experience, we just want franchisees who can share in our enthusiasm for the brand and be hard working and self-motivated. We will teach you everything else you need to know!”
The potential for Plan-it Cards franchisees is huge. The greeting card market is still worth an impressive £1.5 billion annually; with over 90% of greetings cards still sold in physical shops (there are over 100,000 independent retailers in the UK).
Plan-it Cards franchisees build business relationships and sales with retailers in their own exclusive territory. Once a month, the Franchisee visits the site to refresh and replace stock sold, introduce new designs and products (Franchisees have access to over 400 designs), and collect the revenue for stock sold from the store. This guarantees the Franchisee a regular monthly income.
The retailer only pays for what they sell and have no stock write off, no initial outlay, and an immediate profit with no financial risk.
Typically, you will work from home so require access to a vehicle and mobile devices.
For 2023 we are particularly interested in developing Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, York, Brighton, Portsmouth, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Northern Ireland amongst other territories.
