Burger & Sauce is set to open in Selly Oak, Birmingham.  The restaurant, centrally situated on Oak Tree Lane on the junction with Bristol Road, is anticipated to open by mid-June, although customers can order for home delivery via Uber Eats now.   Selly Oak will be run by new franchisee Mr Kareem with the help of 15 new staff.

Mr Kareem who is a qualified solicitor and has a background in property development owns the building which will house the brand new restaurant.  He comments:  “I’ve previously worked in catering and events and was looking for a thriving business to take advantage of the 1,500 square foot space we had in the Oak Tree Lane site.  I looked at options and thought I could run it myself!  I spoke to several other leading QSR franchises, but Burger & Sauce stood out.

“For me, the franchise opportunity made sense as it’s particularly reasonable compared to some of the bigger national brand names and Selly Oak doesn’t have a Burger & Sauce.  I’m also a big fan!  I love the cleanliness of Burger & Sauces’ restaurants, the customer service plus the great, fresh, food.  All the stores are brand new and are really popular.  I’m now excited to bring Burger & Sauce to Selly Oak.”

Anthony Round, Franchise Director, Burger & Sauce confirms: “At Burger & Sauce we pride ourselves on the simplicity of our operation.  This means an experienced business operator like Mr Kareem can come on board as a franchisee and we put everything in place to provide him with the best chance of success.  From training to our technology, from marketing to store fit-out, we offer complete turn-key opening of stores for new franchisees.  We are now delighted Mr Kareem has joined us in our mission to bring our fresh, tasty burgers to more customers around the Midlands.”

Burger & Sauce, which was first set up during the Pandemic, quickly became popular with its first restaurant turning over £1.5 million in its first year. The brand currently has successful sites in eleven locations including: The Bull Ring, Castle Vale, Alum Rock, Kings Heath, Walsall, Nottingham, Derby, West Bromwich, Leicester, Sutton Coldfield and Bearwood Road in Birmingham.

For those interested in running a Burger & Sauce restaurant, exclusive territories are currently available around two hours’ drive from Birmingham.  A ten-year franchise licence is £15,000 plus store and fit-out costs and fees.  Multi-site development licences are also available for approved franchisees.
