The Travel Franchise sees six new joiners to the company in a single day

In the last three months, multi-award-winning travel franchise The Travel Franchise has beaten its own sales forecasts by over 30%.

Paul Harrison, co-founder of The Travel Franchise says; “We like to challenge ourselves and so always give ourselves substantial sales targets to reach for, but the last three months we have blasted these out of the water by over 30%. The resurgence in travel shows no signs of abating as consumer confidence has been buoyed by recent glorious sunshine and the recent energy cap. Consumer mood is good and this translates into significant bookings. Many of our members are taking home £10-30k in income each month”.

For the first time in the company’s history, Mauritius enters the top five destinations being booked. Firstly, because consumers want more premium experience coupled with good value. Secondly, bookings with key trade partner Beachcomber Tours have soared as a result of the company’s recent Elite Experience on the island, where 32 agents and corporate team members travelled to the island and experienced its luxury Beachcomber resorts.

An increasing number of consumers are booking with travel consultants during the weekends - with more bookings being made on Saturdays and Sundays since January. This, Harrison comments, shows the value a flexible-working homeworking travel consultant offers to the consumer. “We offer more than the high street retailers’ 9-5 and make bookings while their doors are closed. The world wants on-demand service and we are the ones to provide it. It’s part of our unique and disruptive offer”.

In addition, the recruitment side of the business is seeing record sales this year. In the first five months it has recruited more new travel franchisees than the whole of 2022 - with at least one new travel consultant joining most working days. Yesterday (31 May) The Travel Franchise welcomed six new members in a single day - highlighting the level of interest in the business.

Paul Harrison commented “I can’t think of a single franchisor in the world who is experiencing recruitment rates such as ours. More people than ever want to become homeworking travel consultants as they see the uncapped financial regards, lifestyle benefits and work-life balances that can be achieved with such a business.“
