UBX launches first three locations in Japan

UBX, the boxing and strength franchise co-founded by four-time world champion boxer, Danny Green and fitness and tech entrepreneur, Tim West, have launched their first three locations in Tokyo, Japan.

The brand is bringing their world-class boxing and strength workouts to three new locations in Tokyo with gyms launching in Kagurazaka, Kodemmacho and Omori.

The launch of UBX into Japan marks the entry into the brands 7th global market following the openings of the first UBX gyms in the UK, Ireland, and the USA earlier this year, adding to the brands existing locations in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Mark Pinner, CEO of Empowered Brands, the specialist investment and fitness franchise operator which partnered with UBX to rollout the brand across the UK and Ireland comments:

The expansion of UBX into Japan is being driven by the strategic master franchise partnership with the Prova Group who are set to open a minimum of 145 locations in Japan over the next 10 years.
