Molly Maid Franchisees Winners in the Prestigious Great British Franchisee Awards 2023
Molly Maid Burton Upon Trent & Derby Franchisees, Gill and Rob Dawson, have been recognised as a winner in the 2023 whichfranchise.com Great British Franchisee Awards 2023. The award recognises Franchisees across the UK who run exceptional businesses and Jonathan Holden, COO of Molly Maid UK, couldn’t agree more with the judges’ decision this year.
Powerhouse couple Gill and Rob have always been high achievers in Molly Maid, the UK’s most recognised name and consistently the highest ranked business in the booming domestic cleaning industry, but since COVID they have gone on to achieve eye watering growth. “Since COVID Gill and Rob have almost tripled their business, were recognised as our top 2022 sales growth leader and continue to be in 2023, and have built a team that is capable of taking their business to the million pound level in annual sales. They are exceptional leaders and we are thrilled that whichfranchise.com have recognised this unbelievable achievement too. They deserve it!”
With a background in customer service and management, both Gill and Rob have relied on this experience to build a culture in their business, and a skilled team, centred around exceptional service. It’s this culture and a focus on investment and growth that have helped Gill and Rob become the third biggest Franchise in Molly Maid with annualised sales now topping £750,000. “We are really proud of our team and what they are achieving, and to be recognised with this award just makes all of the hard work more satisfying”. But they are also very supportive of their local community too, not just through helping them keep their homes clean though, as they sponsor their local cricket club, music festival, bonfire night and gift prizes for many school raffles too!
With two young daughters and a busy family life, it’s not all work and no play for Gill and Rob though. “Flexibility to spend quality time with our family and being able to build a successful business, was an important factor in becoming a Molly Maid Franchisee and it’s one of the benefits of being your own boss.”
What’s next for Gill and Rob? “We’ve got a fabulous team in place that can help us to continue to grow and with the huge growth in the demand for housecleaning the sky really is the limit in what we can achieve. We are really excited about the future.”
