Domino's scoops PAPA "Pizza Delivery Chain Award" 2007

The world's leading pizza delivery firm, Domino's Pizza UK & Ireland, has been presented the Pizza Delivery Chain Award at the Pizza Pasta and Italian Food Association (PAPA) Awards for the third time and for the second year running.

The 19th annual UK PAPA awards, which recognise excellence in all aspects of pizza, pasta and Italian food making and retailing, were presented at a special gala dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 1st November 2007.

Domino's received the Pizza Delivery Chain Award in recognition of its success in driving the delivery sector. The judges gave the accolade to Domino's for setting a high standard in all aspects of its operations from customer service to food quality and delivery.

Andy Hirst, Domino's Pizza Franchise Manager, says: "On behalf of Domino's I am delighted to accept this award. At Domino's, our priority is delivering high standards of product, service, image and safety and we plan to continue making inroads in this area over the coming year. We take great pride in how our strong performance reflects positively on the pizza delivery industry as a whole."

The judging panel was made up of leading figures from companies within the industry.
