Revive! High Flyers on Programme to Drive Performance to new Heights
Revive! has launched its own MBA style Executive Leadership Programme (ELP), designed to motivate its star network performers to reach even higher.
The programme builds on the Revive! Accelerated Growth Programme which has been available for franchisees for the last few years, and resulted in nearly 500% higher growth in sales for participants, compared to the rest of the network!
An invitation only initiative, 16 of the top performers and rising stars have accepted the challenge to take part in the intensive academic course which also includes a social element.
Led by the Revive! franchise growth team with active involvement from its industry leading main board members, the ELP aims to encourage franchisees to look at their business from all angles and all stages, current and future.
Explained Ricky Taylor, Revive! director of business growth and business coach: “It’s not a training course. The whole journey is about thinking differently and acting differently. It’s gaining a competitive edge. At the launch we said ‘we can’t say it’s going to be easy, It's not for everyone. It's going to be really tough. It's going to be challenging. We're going to get academics in that are going to push you somewhere that you've not been, but we can say it’s going to be worth it!’.
The programme’s aim is to help the franchisees identify and understand their long term business objectives and then help them grow profitably to achieve those objectives. The peer to peer socialising aspect enables the sharing of information and interaction between those who are right at the top and those who are on the way.
Demanding in both time and effort with an element of written work, the four autumn sessions explore themes of team building, mindset and business planning. Eminent external guest speakers have been invited to share their expert knowledge with the group.
The pace is fast – with just one month between each thought challenging day. Sports coach and director of sport Nick De Luca was the guest speaker at the first meeting held in October. His presentation on High Performance Mindset challenged the group to ‘think, unthink and rethink ’. November’s ELP session focussed on team building and was led by Jonathan Lawson, business lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University who was previously the national academic director of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme.
The third session to be held in December will be all about understanding the numbers and developing a business plan for 2025 and beyond. The Business Growth team will present each participant with a detailed analysis of their business financials with the aim of helping the franchisees to gain a better insight into their performance and begin to think more strategically to facilitate future growth.
Already, the attendees are seeing the benefit of taking some time out of the day-to-day to reflect and plan for the future. Feedback has been extremely positive:
“I really enjoyed yesterday. Seems like it came at the right time for me personally and yesterday re-energised me to make positive change. I’m excited about 2025 and what it will bring personally and professionally.”
“I have started to think differently about how I see my business, changing my mindset to be more aware and ‘in the moment’. What can I do to influence in a positive way?”
The culmination of the programme will be in Spring of next year when the franchisees will present their own business plans to their peer group and the Revive! board, discussing their learning experience and how they plan to apply this knowledge to grow their business.
That session is likely to include some socialising and fun, previous AGP events have taken place in France, Amsterdam and Dublin, so watch this space!
