GreenThumb, the UK’s largest lawn care service, is set for another year of prosperity as it celebrates another year of sustained growth and achievements, increasing its reach across more than 220 locations. With a fully developed franchise network, the franchise completed 10 re-sales and several company-owned territories in 2024, offering new franchise partners with immediate income and an established support system. This expansion further strengthens GreenThumb’s role as the premier provider of lawn treatments to more than 300,000 customers across the UK.

“For the past five years, we have achieved record-breaking performances with more than 24% of the franchise network exceeding 10% year-on-year growth,” said Paul Edwards, Managing Director of GreenThumb. “We also saw significant success and expansion in regions, such as North Staffs, St Ives, and the Wirral, highlighting the effectiveness and scalability of GreenThumb’s business model. A couple of our franchise partners also celebrated national franchise award wins, recognising their franchise journey and achievements in growing their business and creating local employment. These accolades are a testament to our brand’s strength and resilience.”

GreenThumb prides itself on the exceptional customer service and excellence it provides to its customers and is the reason for the brand’s success. Last year, the franchise launched several innovative services that have significantly enhanced customer engagement and satisfaction: the MyGreenThumb customer portal and LawnLove Rewards loyalty programme. Both these initiatives have proved a great success, with 51% of customers already active on the platform and nearly 1,000 customers having claimed rewards. To support GreenThumb’s commitment to customer service, the franchise achieved a high Net Promoter Score of 72, which indicates that the business is considered excellent with a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

GreenThumb made significant investments in franchise support and training throughout the year with the employment of three new business coaches in Head Office. The creation of these additional performance coaching roles has further strengthened the support network, providing franchise partners with invaluable expertise and support to succeed. Enhanced collaboration techniques were also introduced, and the participation of franchise partners in educational cohorts at Head Office reached new heights.

Paul Edwards, Managing Director of GreenThumb, said: “With a combination of innovative services and a strong focus on franchisee support last year, we are now ready for another record-breaking year. As we look forward to the year ahead, we are aiming to welcome 10 new franchise partners to the network from diverse professional backgrounds, demonstrating the accessibility and appeal of our business model. We remain steadfast to deliver a high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction, with ambitious plans to deliver an additional 1,000,000 lawn treatments in 2025!”
