Meet the new Owners of TruGreen West Surrey and North Hampshire

Change is in the air at TruGreen West Surrey and North Hampshire.

The business, which was under the previous stewardship of Oliver Green since 2005, has transitioned into the expert hands of the lawn care experts Robert Miller and David Mayson.

Meet Rob and David

Rob and David are stepping into an ownership role at TruGreen after years of experience as expert lawn care technicians, delivering our professional lawn care services in their local community.

Their ownership came about after the previous owner Oliver wanted to step back from the business to focus on retirement and keeping healthy.

Therefore, the decision to change hands wasn’t sudden, but an evolving conversation over two years that led Rob and Dave to grow into business ownership, as the pair knew they wanted to continue working together and supporting their customers.

This made the question of ownership a no-brainer.

“We both enjoy the work and wanted to continue doing it,” says Rob.

“We get on very well personally and in a working relationship. So, it made sense for us to be an official partnership.”

Some things change and some things stay the same…

As experienced technicians, Rob and Dave know first-hand what it takes to transform a lawn from a difficult state to a well-maintained landscape – something the pair share a great sense of pride in achieving for their customers as a source of satisfaction and pride.

“You get a sense of pride when you can do a good job and deliver what a customer is hoping for, if not better, and we gain their trust through that we can then maintain their lawn at that quality,” says Rob.

Dave also notes this developed customer trust through personal touches, relationships, and quality service, which has led to clients staying with the company since it came to the area in 2005.

Now, Rob and Dave say their long-term goal is to become a trusted and respected leader in lawn care, continuing to provide a high level of service to support customers in their area to the highest standard with all their lawn care needs.

As owners, this includes becoming acquainted with TruGreen’s unique systems for success, like its patented Business Management System, which allows franchise partners to automate and track all of the essential information needed to run their business effectively.
