Entrepreneur, André, opens London's first UBX gym and sets new sales record
UBX Wembley, London's first UBX gym has got off to a flying start, securing 100 members in presale before officially opening the doors to their boutique gym on 19th February.
This performance set a new record for UBX presale memberships in the UK and Ireland.
Franchisee André Hordagoda described his UBX gym as “the coolest gym in London” as he and his team hosted a lively launch party for friends, family, and the gyms foundation members.

André and his team were recognised for their presale performance at the Empowered Brands Prevo 2024 Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony, winning UBX Presale Club of the Year.
UBX Wembley is the first venture into the health and fitness industry for entrepreneur, André. In his previous business as Co-CEO and Co-Founder of the pioneering live-video-for-retail SAAS tech firm Go Instore, in under 10 years he scaled the business globally and took it to its eventual successful exit in 2021.
The fantastic looking Wembley site was the first UBX gym to open in London and follows earlier UBX franchise openings in Media City (Salford), Stepaside (Dublin). Sheffield, Bath, and Alderley (Cheshire).
On the opening of UBX Wembley, Mark Pinner, CEO at UBX UK & Ireland, and Empowered Brands commented:
