GERMAN DONER KEBAB ANNOUNCES MAJOR GROWTH PLANS FOR CANADA

German Doner Kebab has announced that it plans to open 100 new restaurants in Canada over the next ten years. The growth ambitions have been announced following the successful launch of its first two restaurants in Ottawa and Surrey last year. The fast-casual brand now plans to open a further three restaurants in Canada by the end of 2021, including Downtown Toronto which is scheduled to open in May.  German Doner Kebab is also now looking to engage with experienced multi-unit franchise partners in Montreal, Calgary and Ottawa as part of its growth plans for Canada. German Doner Kebab Managing Director for North America, Nigel Belton, said: “Our first two restaurants in Ottawa and Surrey have met our expectations and we are looking forward to forging ahead with our ambitious growth plans for Canada and North America.”

Papa John's set for busy Summer with new Boston opening

Leading pizza franchise Papa John’s has opened its latest brand-new store in the market town of Boston, Lincolnshire.   Managed by franchisee Sukhbir Gill, who runs several other Papa John’s in the region, including one on Fantasy Island Resort, Skegness, the new Boston store will employ up to 20 locally recruited staff.

Anytime Fitness to open nine new individually owned health clubs by end of May as entrepreneurship thrives during lockdown
