Wingers Doubles Size of In-house Marination Facility

Wingers – the Chicken Wing Company – has confirmed it is currently working to double the size of its in-house marination facility in Aldridge, Birmingham.  The total investment, estimated between £150-200K, will cover re-configuration of the current marination facility to include a secure delivery van unit, extended refrigeration area, plus an upper level mezzanine store for non-refrigerated goods.

How Telford Took 500 Orders on First Opening Friday

Wingers in Telford Shopping Centre opened over the Easter weekend in 2024 and took 500 orders on the bank holiday Friday alone.  The new store beat the previous Wingers’ weekly opening sales record by 67%.

Wingers Flies High with Five New Store Openings

Wingers – the Chicken Wing Company – is flying high with five new franchised store openings this year including Telford, Watford, West Bridgford, The Taproom in Harborne High Street Birmingham and Birmingham International Train Station.  Wingers, which now has eleven shops trading successfully, aims to have 20 stores open in locations across the UK by the end of 2024

Wingers in Numbers

"Along with my brother Dylan and my dad Bill, we launched Wingers during the Pandemic from a dark kitchen in Aldridge, Birmingham.  Dad’s sandwich business had been forced to close due to the COVID restrictions and we urgently needed to generate some income to support our family.  We set about creating recipes at home and came up with our marinated fresh fried chicken: crunchy on the outside and super succulent to taste.  From day one, customers loved our chicken and kept coming back for more! Fast forward a few years and our humble Wingers launch was so successful that by December 2023, six restaurants had been opened in the Midlands.  We now have a franchise pipeline of ten more restaurants set to open in 2024."
